Covid-19 resources for schools and young people

 

Venue / Facilities

NUMBER of PARTICIPANTS

  • Density quotient of 1 person per 2m2 outdoors / 1 person per4m2 indoors
  • Capacity limit 500
  • Each area in the pavilion will have signage advising the no. of people permitted at any one time

ENTRY / EXIT

  • All participants and spectators are required to register their attendance via the QR codes displayed around the venue

ROTUNDAS

  • Our Saturday netball market will be set up in the rotunda adjacent to court 3

M-P ROOM

  • Entry for those who are FULLY VACCINATED only
  • All must register via the QR code at the entrance

SANITISING

Saturday staff & committee will sanitise:

  • goal post padding regularly
  • surfaces, door handles, light switches regularly
  • toilet block before, during & after the day

TOILETS

 

  • Male toilet block will be open to netball participants only
  • Female toilet block will be open - no more than 3 people are permitted at one time.
  • Toilets will be sanitised before, during and after each day
  • Strict Personal Hygiene measures are to be adhered to by the user ie) handwashing etc.
  • There will be no access to showers

WATER

  • Participants are encouraged not to use drinking fountains
  • Participants should bring their own NAMED water bottle, filled at home

MONEY

 All purchases should be made via a card NOT CASH 

KIOSK

 

  • All patrons must maintain a distance of 1.5 m apart 
  • If ordering coffee, please move away from the kiosk and wait until your name is called to collect
  • Kiosk staff will apply condiments (sauces, mustard, soy sauces) where applicable
  • Kiosk staff must wear a mask and be fully vaccinated

FIRST AID

  • We have a qualified nurse (& doctor if needed) managing the first aid room
  • A maximum of 3 people permitted = nurse, patient, one parent
  • Masks must be worn indoors
  • All injured / unwell will be temperature checked before entering
  • Anyone with a fever /symptoms will be required to report to a local Covid testing centre
  • Routine sanitising and recording will be maintained

ADMIN

  • A maximum of 6 people (density quotient of 1/4m2) are permitted in the admin room.
  • Patrons will be required to communicate 1.5m from the window.

MISC.

  • We will not be providing SCISSORS / NAIL CLIPPERS – therefore you must attend to this at home
  • We will not be providing SUNSCREEN – therefore you must apply this at home
  • You may purchase a roll of micropore tape for earrings ($4 CARD only) or remove them.
  • You may purchase hand sanitiser or sanitiser sprays from the office

           1L = $12 /500ml = $7 /250ml = $6 / 100ml = $4 / 1L spray concentrate = $16

CONTACT TRACING

  • Spectators must register using the QR Code at ALL venues.

HEALTH

DO NOT ATTEND:

  • If UNWELL or have had CLOSE CONTACT with a confirmed case within the last 14 days
  • If you have a chronic medical condition or are immunocompromised - follow the advice of your health care professional & be aware of increased risk                                                                    

HYGIENE:

Anyone entering the venue is expected to follow all personal hygiene guidelines as outlined: wear a mask, hand sanitise, respiratory etiquette and social distancing.

NUMBER:

  • Spectators are permitted
  • Spectators must abide by gathering restrictions ( <30 per group)

ENTRY / EXIT:

 

  • All are required to register their attendance via the QR codes displayed at entry points and around the venue.
  • Must “enter, watch the match, leave”, just like players.
  • May not enter the venue more than 10 minutes prior to the game
  • Parents are encouraged to use drop off / pick up points or car-pool as parking is limited

AREA:

 

  • All must abide by Government “gathering” restrictions – not more than 30 people, 1.5m apart

FACILITIES:

  • Only fully vaccinated people may enter the pavilion
  • No spectators are permitted to enter the pavilion
  • Must abide by social distancing rules when queuing at the kiosk or office.
  • Must ensure cashless transactions at the kiosk and office
  • 1 parent only may accompany an injured player to first aid

  • Toilet facilities are prioritised for participants only. There is a public exe-loo available.
  • Male toilet block will be closed – males can request access at the office
  • Female toilet block will be open - no more than 3 people are permitted at one time.
  • Strict Personal Hygiene measures are to be adhered to by the user ie) handwashing etc.

CONSEQUENCES:

Should spectators not abide by the rules it is our Duty of Care to

  1. call the police to issue social gathering fines
  2. ban spectators from the relevant club from attending in future

Please note: our priority is to allow players to play netball and should parents spoil the experience by flouting rules, we will be forced to cancel the entire competition.

COVID SAFETY OFFICER

Each team is required to nominate ONE person who will be responsible for maintaining all protocols at each session

CONTACT TRACING

  • All coaches and players managers, parents, spectators must register via the QR Code system at check in
VACCINATION
  • Anyone 12yrs + 2mths  must be fully vaccinated to enter an indoor facility or space not used exclusively for the purpose of community sport. Includes canteens, social rooms, restaurants, etc.
  • Venues will have their own protocols regarding vaccination status which must be adhered to. At BSC, anyone entering the venue 12 yrs+ 2mths must be fully vaccinated and be able to show proof on entry

ENTRY/EXIT:

 

  • Participants must enter & exit the venue via the usual entry point at the side of the building
  • All participants must “get in, train, get out”
  • Parents are encouraged to drop off players.
  • Participants must not enter the court area any more than 10 minutes before their game & must exit immediately after their game.

NUMBER

  • Density quotient of 1 person per 4m2
  • Recommended: minimum number required for the session

MASKS

  • Masks must be carried by anyone entering the venue & must be worn at all times indoor.
  • Players & umpires do not need to wear masks when competing.

HYGIENE

Personal hygiene measures must be adhered to at all times:

  • Stay home if unwell or close contact
  • Hand sanitise ++
  • Respiratory hygiene
  • Social distancing - maintain a distance of 1.5m apart when not competing
  • No sharing of personal items ie) drink bottles, phones, food

SPECTATORS:

  • Spectators must be limited to essential persons only
  • Spectators must abide by “gathering” restrictions & social distancing
  • Spectators must wear a mask

EQUIPMENT

 

 

  • Teams must provide their own ball and bibs
  • Balls are to be washed with disinfectant (wipes / spray) after each session
  • Limit changing of over the shoulder bibs & contact with face
  • Team bibs must be taken home and washed after each match
  • Goal post padding will be washed down (by staff) after each match
