Volunteers!

The success and popularity of the Boroondara Netball Association has exceeded our wildest expectations and has been solely due to the enthusiasm and dedication of our ever expanding band of volunteer ‘givers'. Our entire netball program is based upon volunteer involvement and, without it, costs to participants would significantly increase, possibly making it an unviable option.

Consider the diversity of roles performed by our volunteers: administrators and officials, club secretaries, team coaches and managers, raffle ticket sellers, accountants, book keepers, medical providers, legal adviser, scorers, time keepers, supporters, transport providers, tournament organisers, course coordinators, JuniorNet helpers, newsletter production, umpire rosters, competition fixtures and ladders, uniform and property distribution, social organisers and even Father Christmas!

Committee Position descriptions

Management Committee: Set goals and budgets; formulate policies.
Executive Director: Work with the Committee & Project Officers to ensure that goals, budgets & policies are maintained; overall management of Association programs
Project Officers: Coordinate the individual programs of the Association as determined by the Management Commmittee.
Sub-committees: Assist in the management of the programs, under the guidance of the Management Committee and Project Officers.
