Health
|
- DO NOT ATTEND if you are UNWELL or if you have had CLOSE CONTACT with a confirmed case recently
- If you have a chronic medical condition /are immunocompromised follow the advice of your health care professional & be aware of increased risk
- Coaches -be mindful that participants may not be “netball fit” so ensure a graded return to minimise the risk of injury

Hygiene
|
- Anyone entering the venue is expected to follow all routine social distancing & personal hygiene guidelines
- Outdoors & indoors : wear a MASK when unable to maintain 1.5m distance from others
- Indoors: wear a mask at all times unless playing
- Wash your hands with hand sanitiser before the session / match
|
Preparation
|
- Shower / eat / go to the toilet at home before training to minimise contact at the facility
- Arrive in uniform, with taping / strapping /sunscreen / lip balm / earring tape all applied at home
- Bring your own drink bottle, filled with water from home / your own hand sanitiser, towel > all NAMED
- Coaches - be ready to go ie) Matches: starting 7 & potential rotations / Training: drills

Entry
|
- Allow 10 minutes between each session to limit groups crossing over or mingling
- Parents encouraged to use drop off points or car pool
- Enter the venue via the designated point required for your court, always maintaining 1.5m social distancing

Contact Tracing
|
- All people, including players, must register their attendance via the QR codes displayed at entry points and around the venue & provided to each team
- Covid Safety Officer - keep an accurate record of players, coaches & team personnel

DURING the SESSION |

Numbers ON COURT |
- Number of participants essential for the game ie)10 players, coach, umpire, team manager, scorer per team
- Maximum of 30 people per space ( around a netball court)
- Boroondara Netball centre outdoor venue limited to 500 people
- Maintain 1.5m social distancing when explaining drills or providing match feedback.

Activities |
- Where relevant, hold training / match preparation meetings on-line before the session
- Warm up activities can be done away from the courts ie) on the surrounding oval
- Contact activities & competition permitted for all age groups

Spectators |
- Spectators are now permitted within the total group size limits (above)
- Any person OFF COURT must adhere to “gathering” rules - <30 per group, 1.5m apart, carry/wear a mask
|
Facilities |
- Toilet facilities ONLY
- Communal toilet facilities are ONLY available for participants; there is a Council exe-loo in the park for anyone else.
- No more than 3 people permitted in the female toilet block at any one time
- Regularly clean the toilet, change rooms.
- Male participants must ask at the office for access to the toilet
- Only fully vaccinated participants may enter the pavilion

Space |
- Always make sure there is 1.5 m between you and any other person when not competing
- Minimise movement between courts
|
Equipment |
- Avoid touching bibs & then face / allowing bibs to touch your face when swapping – they may be carrying the virus after people have coughed, sneezed or shouted.
- Each team must use their own ball & bibs
- Minimise the use of shared equipment
|
Hygiene |
- Avoid touching your face as this provides a direct portal for the virus, which may be on your hands
- Sneeze / cough into your arm or a tissue > dispose in bin immediately & wash hands
- Hand sanitise before and after each session
- No high 5’s, hand-shakes, hugs, huddles
- Avoid touching surfaces ie) door handles, light switches, benches, seats
- Do not share phones, drink bottles, towels etc
- Do not use drinking fountains

AFTER the SESSION |
FOR ALL: players, coaches, umpires, spectators, administrators, Covid-Safe Officers |
Gathering |
- “Get in, Train/Play, Get out” philosophy to be maintained for all
- No group socialising or gathering after the session
- Recovery sessions must be done at home where relevant
|
Hygiene |
- All participants must wash their hands with hand sanitiser before leaving the court
- Shower at home & wash your uniform after each session
|
Exit |
- Maintain 1.5 m social distancing at all times
|
Equipment |
- Balls are to be washed with disinfectant (wipes / spray) after each session Refer: Sanitising your balls
- All equipment including goal post padding, cones must be washed down after each session
- All frequently used surfaces must be wiped down after each session ie) door handles, benches, equipment boxes
- Bibs must be washed after each session

Contact Tracing |
- Keep the Record of Attendance in a safe, accessible place.
